Isalo, sometimes referred to as Isalo Prime, is a city-state of the Esmeraldan Empire located on the island that was once known as Madagascar. The city was one of the first colonies built by survivors of the Advenan War in 3800. It is primarily inhabited by the meta-human race known as Isalons.
It is the most popolous city-state in the Boar Republic, although it is not the capital.

The city served as the capital of the Isalon Empire from 4652 - 5002.
It was conquered by the Pretorian Confederacy in 5002 following the Boar War.
It became part of the Esmeraldan Empire following the absorption of the Pretorian Confederacy in 5003.
The city is subterranean. It's core network was established from a series of fallout shelters built after World War 4.
The city was formally founded by the Isalons in 3800. It was forced to join the Esmeraldan Empire in 5003 following the Boar War.
